IT Technician – Level I
Position Summary
We are seeking an IT Technician – Level I to join our team of dedicated professionals. This position can be based out of Encino on a hybrid basis. The IT Technician – Level I is responsible for assisting the IT team and end users.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide tier I technical assistance and support for incoming concerns and issues related to systems, software, and hardware
- Install, make changes, and repair basic computer hardware and software
- Follow up on outstanding requests and ensure timely resolution
- Document customer interactions
- Onboard new employees using the standard provided guidelines
- Escalate issues to the next tiers
- Review and release held emails in the Mimecast system
- Fill paper and checks for all printers in office
- Organize and maintain a clean work environment
- Some physical lifting required of equipment
- Other projects and duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required
- Associate's degree is preferred
- A+ or Computer+ certification with 1+ years experience in a similar role is preferred
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating System, as well as current Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work with all office equipment - including printers, fax machines, video, and networking equipment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to create and maintain a trusting relationship with staff and clients
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

This is a non-exempt, overtime eligible position. The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $50,000 - $55,000. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
